Every photo comes in four kinds of print. Here's what each one is, what it looks like up close, and how to pick a size. If you're still torn, send me a note and I'll help you choose.
All four are made by professional photo labs and come in the same 2:3 shape as the photo, so nothing gets cropped.
* 30x45 and 40x60 are offered on the photos with enough detail to print that big. Each print page lists its biggest size.
Up close: the corner of a fine art paper print. Every print page shows this view for its own photo.
Smooth matte fine art paper with rich color and no glare. It ships unframed, so you can frame it to match your room, or take it to your favorite frame shop.
Choose it if you already have a frame in mind, want the lowest price, or want a print for a bright room where glare would get in the way.
Up close: the corner of a canvas print. Every print page shows this view for its own photo.
Printed on canvas and stretched over a 1.5 inch wood frame, with a glossy protective laminate over the print. No glass, no glare from the frame, and it arrives ready to hang.
Choose it if you want a classic gallery look with no frame, or a big statement piece over a couch or bed.
Up close: the corner of a metal print. Every print page shows this view for its own photo.
The photo is printed on aluminum, which gives sunrise color a bright, glowing look. A float mount on the back holds it off the wall, so it seems to hover.
Choose it if you want the boldest color, a modern look, or a print for a kitchen or bathroom where you can wipe it clean.
Up close: the corner of a framed print. Every print page shows this view for its own photo.
A professional lustre photo print in a 1.5 inch black gallery frame, with an acrylic face instead of glass. Acrylic is lighter than glass and far less likely to break in shipping.
Choose it if you want it finished and on the wall the day it arrives, with no trip to the frame shop.
Every size is a 2:3 rectangle, the same shape as the photo. Here they are to scale next to a standard 80 inch door, so you can picture them on your own wall.
24x36Tap a size to see it, hung at eye level. Shown landscape; portrait photos turn the other way.
Over a 72 inch couch, a print around 45 to 50 inches wide looks right. Over a nightstand or desk, 18 to 30 inches.
Tape painter's tape or cut paper to the size you're thinking about and live with it for a day. It's the easiest way to be sure.
About 57 to 60 inches from the floor, or 8 to 10 inches above a couch or headboard.
Prices include free shipping in the US. The shaded rows are statement sizes, offered on the photos that can go that big. "Ask me" means it isn't a standard option, but contact me and I'll see what I can do.
Each print lists the biggest size I'm comfortable selling from that photo. If you're filling a big wall, an office or a restaurant, contact me for larger sizes. I'll check the original file and tell you honestly how big it can go.

Frame it behind glass or acrylic to protect the surface. Handle it by the edges with clean, dry hands.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. The laminate helps protect the print, so skip cleaners and water.
Wipe with a soft microfiber cloth. For smudges, a little water on the cloth is all it needs.
Clean the acrylic with a soft microfiber cloth. Skip glass cleaner and paper towels, which can scratch it.
For any print: hang it out of strong direct sun to keep the color at its best for years.
